Jade (she/her/they/them) is a multi-faceted artist living in Vancouver, BC. Originally from the prairies, she made the move to BC to attend The Art Institute for Interior Design in 2011. Her path led her overseas to Ireland in August 2021 then to Spain and England in 2022 for film work in VFX. She published her first collection of poetry, “Grounded” in 2023.
Jade has a strong eye for detail and perspective. In all of her creative outlets she is self-taught. She believes by sharing her story she can help others feel seen, heard and embraced in their own experience. Jade is a spiritual being and practices gratitude by daily journalling and reflection through tarot pulls.
As part of the LGBTQ2SA+ community, Jade strives to create an inclusive space filled with connection to share ideas and experiences. She is passionate about animal rights, Indigenous reconciliation and environmental change.
Her style is always evolving and influenced by her surroundings and emotions. Jade loves to travel the world and find new inspiration and connection for future collections.
Outside of her painting and photography, she has started directing music videos and burlesque dancing.
